The collectible card game (CCG) will undergo a complete transformation that will render previous accounts and collections incompatible with the new version.

The updated Shiba Eternity will introduce numerous new features that require players to transition to new accounts. While acknowledging the attachments players might have to their old accounts, Shiba Inu Games assured a smooth transition by offering generous welcome back gifts to returning players.
Returning players will be compensated generously to kickstart their new journey, although old cards and Shiboshis will not be carried over to the new version.
Players’ rewards will be determined by their previous in-game accomplishments and possessions. The amount of Kibble, Card Packs, and Selector Tokens provided will be based on the number of Shiboshis and cards the player had in the previous version of the game.
One of the key features of Shiba Eternity remains its integration with blockchain technology, particularly Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). Although the in-game Shiboshis are not NFTs, there are 10,000 unique Shiboshi NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain with various traits, allowing for diverse combinations. Owners of Shiboshi NFTs gain special game privileges like beta testing.
These NFTs have utility within the game, allowing owners to earn the native token, TREAT, when their NFTs’ replicas win in seasonal tournaments. This system encourages active participation through staking to earn TREAT rewards.
The game’s strategic mechanics focus on selecting and utilizing Shiboshis and their traits to influence gameplay outcomes. Choosing a Shiboshi’s discipline like Chewjitsu or Bite Thai is crucial, as it dictates which cards can be played, impacting duels significantly with different strengths and strategies.
Regarding gameplay expansion, NFT staking will occur on Shibarium, Shiba Inu Games’ blockchain platform, showcasing their dedication to integrating blockchain technology more deeply into the gaming experience.
Players can engage in various competitive formats within Shiba Eternity, from friendly matches to ranked tournaments, with substantial in-game rewards offered for participation in tournaments, elevating the challenge and rewards of competitive gameplay.
