Amazon is launching a new subscription service for Web3 gaming called 1KIN Lab’s. This service, developed by GR1D Network, will provide users with exclusive content and early access features within its GR1D TERMINAL platform and ecosystem.
Amazon’s Innovative Move in Gaming
1KIN Labs has unveiled its GR1D TERMINAL platform and the 1PASS subscription option on Amazon. This initiative aims to create a “discovery and management hub” that enhances the blockchain gaming experience for users.
The platform will guide players through the vast Web3 gaming universe, allowing them to manage and earn exclusive rewards while simplifying the currently complex gaming environment.
After a successful closed beta trial with over 25,000 users, GR1D TERMINAL seeks to introduce enhanced interoperability and more intuitive features, allowing access to a wide array of Web3 games on various networks like Solana and Avalanche.
Alongside the terminal, the 1PASS subscription will be available on Amazon, giving gamers access to exclusive content, early access, and discounts on the platform.
Similar to services like Xbox Games Pass and Amazon Prime Gaming, the 1PASS will provide subscribers with a selection of unique in-game assets and exclusive offerings from over 100 Web3 games within the GR1D ecosystem.
This marks 1PASS as the first Web3 gaming subscription on Amazon, tapping into the extensive user base of the global e-commerce giant.

This announcement coincides with the launch of GR1D Network, a blockchain aimed at creating a community where gamers can seamlessly engage with unique assets and rewards.

Industry experts have also been discussing the promising future of Web3 gaming at the recent European Blockchain Convention (EBC10) in Barcelona.

Sebastien Borget, co-founder of The Sandbox, pointed out that players are increasingly experimenting with blockchain and making their initial earnings through NFT gaming.
