Eu Commission Partners With Blockchain Platform Protokol For Digital Educational-Bitrabo

The European Commission has partnered with Protokol, a blockchain solutions provider, to develop a blockchain-based verification solution for educational and professional credentials. The goal is to provide an easier process for individuals to have their credentials recognized and accepted in countries across the European Union (EU). The partnership aims to establish a secure, decentralized digital infrastructure, not only for the EU but also for broader applications beyond its borders.

Protokol is contributing its expertise in user-friendly design to enhance the cross-border user journey, ensuring a seamless and intuitive experience for individuals interacting with the credential verification system. This collaboration is part of the European Blockchain Services Infrastructure (EBSI), which aims to leverage blockchain technology to enhance the efficiency, transparency, and security of various digital services across sectors such as education, healthcare, finance, and more.

The project is being undertaken by a consortium of partners from across Europe, comprising universities, research institutions, and technology companies. By collaborating with various stakeholders, the project aims to leverage their collective knowledge and capabilities to develop and implement effective solutions.
