Heres What We Know About Stepns Integration With Apple Pay-Bitrabo

STEPN, a blockchain-based gaming platform, announced it has integrated with Apple Pay, making it the first app to do so. The platform was initially launched in 2018, during the cryptocurrency craze, as one of the first platforms to reward users with tokens for performing activities.

Collaboration Between Apple and STEPN

The partnership with Apple Pay is expected to bring more convenience to users, allowing them to purchase the platform’s non-fungible tokens (NFTs) Sneakers using the service. The new partnership will be supported by Circle-based stablecoin USDC. To acquire one of the assets, users need to buy 10 SPARK credits and access the In-App marketplace.

The company indicated that the collaboration would also facilitate a long-awaited update to the STEPN Marketplace on iOS, which could improve users’ experiences. The platform also plans to implement a new reward system exclusively for iOS users, called “Badges & Achievement,” which allows them to reach milestones, complete challenges, and complete their collections.

STEPN expects the Apple Pay integration to connect Web2 with the next internet evolution, Web3, and, as a result, onboard more users worldwide. The team considers the integration a “monumental milestone” and expressed gratitude towards Apple for supporting the company since the launch.

Apple has previously shown animosity towards the cryptocurrency industry, and numerous projects have criticized the obstacles they need to overcome to launch a product on the App Store. The integration of STEPN and Apple Pay could signify a new era of collaboration between the tech giant and the budding industry.

STEPN’s native token surged by over 3% since the announcement, trading at $0.3 as of this writing.
