Murder Suspected: Ex-OneCoin’s ‘Crypto Queen’ Potentially Killed by Bulgarian Drug Lord

Ruja Ignatova, dubbed the “Crypto Queen,” vanished seven years ago following a US arrest warrant due to her involvement in the $4.5 billion OneCoin Ponzi scheme. Recent BBC findings suggest she might have been murdered by a Bulgarian criminal.

The Mysterious Disappearance of the Crypto Queen

In 2014, Ruja Ignatova founded OneCoin, promoting it as the next big cryptocurrency. However, the company turned out to be a massive Ponzi scheme defrauding billions from investors. After authorities cracked down on OneCoin in 2017, Ignatova went missing to avoid prosecution following an arrest warrant.

Now, suspicions arise that Ignatova, the only woman on the FBI’s top 10 most wanted list, could have met a grim fate orchestrated by a Bulgarian drug lord.

According to BBC’s probe, suspicion points to Hristoforos Nikos Amanatidis, a notorious Bulgarian drug lord and Ignatova’s former security chief. Interwoven with organized crime, Amanatidis, known as Taki, allegedly played a crucial role in the Crypto Queen’s disappearance, wielding significant influence in criminal circles.

Amanatidis, likened to an Eastern European drug kingpin, is linked to various criminal activities including drug trafficking, armed robberies, and homicides.

The Alleged Connection Between Ignatova and the Drug Lord

Ivan Hristanov, a former Bulgarian official, suggests that Taki was potentially Ignatova’s accomplice, shielding her from law enforcement while aiding in her illicit schemes. Described as a mysterious figure, Taki operated in the shadows, exerting control in criminal syndicates.

Taki, a phantom-like figure, remains elusive—only heard of through intermediaries. Disobey, and you vanish.

Evidence points to a close association between Ignatova and Taki, with financial transactions, property dealings, and alleged protection payments implicating the duo further.

Speculation mounts regarding Ignatova’s fate as reports surface indicating her demise at the hands of Taki. Journalist Dimitar Stoyanov’s investigation reveals a chilling account from a police informant alleging Ignatova’s murder following Taki’s orders, with her body disposed of at sea in late 2018.

Perceived as a liability in Taki’s eyes, Ignatova’s alleged demise aimed to sever ties to the OneCoin scam.

Despite mounting circumstantial evidence and testimonies, the lack of concrete proof hinders legal action against the suspected drug lord, leaving Ignatova’s ultimate fate shrouded in mystery.
