The deteriorating health of Tigran Gambaryan, a key figure in the Binance vs. Nigeria conflict, has raised concerns. Gambaryan’s health has taken a turn for the worse since he contracted malaria in May and reports suggest that he has been denied proper medical care.

In a recent development, a disturbing video surfaced showing Gambaryan’s frail state and the severe treatment he has endured. Binance’s CEO has spoken out against the Nigerian authorities, demanding Gambaryan’s immediate release.

CEO Condemns Treatment of Binance Exec Shown in Disturbing Video

Binance’s CEO Richard Teng criticized the treatment of Tigran Gambaryan by Nigerian authorities. The video captures guards being harsh towards Gambaryan as he struggled to walk to court on Monday.

Gambaryan, using crutches due to spinal issues, was denied a wheelchair by the guards. He expressed frustration and pain, emphasizing his innocence amid the ordeal.

Richard Teng labeled the treatment as “inhumane” and called for the executive’s release to receive proper medical attention.

The crypto community also voiced disapproval, denouncing the harsh treatment faced by Gambaryan.

Detained Executive’s Health Deteriorates

Gambaryan’s health has been a focal point for concern, exacerbated by his malaria diagnosis in May and lack of medical aid while in custody.

Despite a court order for medical attention following a health incident in May, Gambaryan’s condition worsened, with US representatives noting his declining health in late June.

During his trial in September, reports highlighted the urgency of the medical attention Gambaryan requires due to his deteriorating health.

However, Nigerian prosecutors argue that his health status is not as critical as claimed, setting the stage for a court hearing regarding his bail application.
