The highly anticipated NOT token is set to make its debut in just a few days, as disclosed by Notcoin’s co-creator. Here’s a comprehensive breakdown of what to anticipate during the claim process.

After attracting a staggering 35 million players within the initial three months of this year, the viral Telegram-based game, Notcoin, is preparing to unveil its NOT token on The Open Network (TON) imminently. The launch timeline for Notcoin’s NOT token was confirmed by co-creator Sasha Plotvinov during an interview with Decrypt’s GG at Token 2049 Dubai last week. Plotvinov outlined three primary options available to users regarding the management of their funds post-launch.

Although the game’s “mining phase” concluded on April 1 in readiness for the token launch, Notcoin plans to reintroduce its coin-tapping gameplay subsequent to the token generation event (TGE). While adjustments to the model have been previously delineated by Decrypt’s GG, players will still have the opportunity to earn tokens by interacting with partner content within the game.

Following the token’s launch, players will be incentivized to retain their tokens within the ecosystem. Plotvinov elaborated to Decrypt’s GG that ongoing opportunities will exist for utilizing the token within the game to unlock exclusive benefits or access additional features.

Plotvinov highlighted that with the token listing and the TGE, the next phase of applications within Notcoin will be unlocked, enabling users to leverage their Notcoins for enhanced tiers, access, and benefits. Anticipating a significant retention rate among players who will continue engaging with the game and potentially utilizing their tokens, Plotvinov emphasized the multitude of in-game opportunities that will be available.

For users opting to withdraw their NOT tokens on The Open Network, two primary withdrawal methods will be facilitated. They can choose to withdraw tokens to an account on a centralized exchange, although specific exchange support for NOT at launch remains unspecified. Alternatively, users may opt for withdrawal to a supported self-custody wallet. The Notcoin team at Open Builders aims to ensure a seamless withdrawal process, citing it as a pivotal reason for the token’s initial delay.
