Day 1 Conference Highlights

The conference kicks off with an essential session titled “Regulatory Fireside Chat: Navigating the US Crypto Landscape.” This discussion will feature Adrienne Harris from the New York State Department of Financial Services and Ripple’s Chief Legal Officer, Stuart Alderoty, as they examine the shifting regulations surrounding cryptocurrency in the U.S. They may also touch upon ongoing legal actions involving the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Another pivotal session, “Exploring the Growing Stablecoin Market,” will highlight how stablecoins are changing the financial sector and streamlining transactions in an increasingly digital world. The panel includes notable participants like Jack McDonald from Ripple, and CEOs from Moonpay, Bitstamp, and Uphold.

This day will culminate in a keynote session featuring Sheila Bair, former FDIC Chair, and Ripple’s President Monica Long in an engaging discussion.

The second day opens with a keynote titled “Strategic Financial Leadership in the Era of Crypto.” Jon Bilich from Ripple and Neil DeSilva, former CFO of PayPal, will explore sustainable business practices utilizing blockchain technology and stablecoins.

In the session “Crypto-Centric Banking: US Banks Leaning In,” discussions will revolve around how U.S. banks are integrating crypto services to meet evolving financial demands. Participants include leaders from various banks who will share their experiences and insights.
