Shiba Inu Community Anticipates Major Update Before 2025

Shiba Inu

The Shiba Inu (SHIB) community is preparing for an upcoming upgrade scheduled to be released by the end of 2024. This upgrade aims to enhance Shiba Inu’s decentralization by giving the community more control and influence over the network.

Overview of Shiba Inu’s New Update

In an exclusive interview with Arab Business, the pseudonymous lead developer of Shiba Inu, Shytoshi Kusama, announced a significant upgrade that will transform the network. By the end of 2024, the anonymous founders and core development team of the Shiba Inu meme coin will transfer control to the community.

This decision is driven by the goal of achieving true decentralization, where the Shiba Inu network will no longer rely on a specific group of developers or leaders. A community-driven crypto network promotes decentralization by distributing power across a diverse audience.

Upon the completion of this crucial upgrade, the Shiba Inu community will have full autonomy and decision-making authority over the network, aligning with the core principles of decentralization in cryptocurrencies. This upgrade could mark a significant shift not only for the SHIB network but for the entire crypto industry, aiming to establish systems governed collectively by the community.

Kusama and Kaal Dhairya, another key figure in the Shiba Inu ecosystem, expressed their intention to integrate into the community as regular members to support the goal of achieving complete decentralization for Shiba Inu.

Initially launched as a meme coin, SHIB has evolved into one of the most popular meme-based cryptocurrencies, significantly increasing its value and becoming the second-largest meme coin by market capitalization, currently trading at $0.000013 with a market cap of $8.05 billion.

Moving Towards a Leaderless Future

During the interview, Kusama revealed that he and other prominent figures in the Shiba Inu ecosystem will step down from their leadership roles by the end of the year. This move is not to abandon the project but to empower the community further.

Maintaining his anonymity with a mask and modulated voice, Kusama emphasized that the strength of SHIB lies in the community, advanced technology, and its unique status as a dog-themed meme coin.
