A new meme coin event is bringing excitement to its community this holiday season, as the year wraps up.

Shiba Inu has teased a festive giveaway for its crypto investors, promising to enhance the holiday spirit.

Christmas is traditionally a time for sharing and joy, and Shiba Inu embraces this spirit with their announcement of a festive giveaway.

Lucie, the marketing lead for the meme coin, shared news of the upcoming holiday event via a post on X, dubbing it an “incredible Christmas giveaway.”

According to Lucie, the team has allocated funds for this holiday celebration.

“I’m thrilled to share that our wonderful Shib developers have approved a budget for an incredible Christmas giveaway!” Lucie expressed in her post.

She went on to share that this holiday celebration is branded as Amazing Christmas Bone December, hinting at substantial rewards for community members who join in.

Speculation arises about the giveaways, with some believing they could involve Shibarium, the official gas token of Shiba Inu. Others anticipate the rewards might involve the Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) or other enticing prizes.

Building Anticipation

The announcement has ignited enthusiasm among Shiba Inu members who await the holiday giveaway details. Many are hopeful that the upcoming rewards will enhance their celebrations this Christmas.

Nevertheless, a few community members have expressed concerns about the focus on BONE for the giveaway, rather than SHIB itself.

As of now, the Shiba Inu team hasn’t addressed this concern.

Some analysts suggest that by highlighting BONE for the Christmas event, it could increase its visibility and drive more adoption.

BONE’s current trading price is $0.5378, reflecting a daily decline of 1.99%, although it has seen a 3.78% increase over the past week.

Previous Festivities in 2023

This isn’t the inaugural Christmas initiative by Shiba Inu; they hosted a similar giveaway last year.

In December 2023, the crypto token organized the “Shibarium Giveaway Party,” where users participated in an X Space featuring notable partners like Bad Idea AI and Welly.

Following the event, each participant was rewarded with 10 branded wallets from Shiba Inu and Bad Idea Tangem.

The Shiba Inu team also disclosed plans to award $2,000 to lucky Shibarium participants and airdrop 500,000 PHIL tokens to SHIB holders alongside the Christmas event.
