Shiba Inu has released its new hyper-casual mobile game, Shiboshi Rush, now accessible for Android users. The launch was announced today by Lucie, Shiba Inu’s marketing lead, through a post on X. She stated, “Get ready for Shiboshi Rush, a thrilling new title from Shiba Inu Games! Players will battle against the Shadowcat army using their Shiboshi troops.”
New Game Launch from Shiba Inu
Shiboshi Rush is a hyper-casual action game where players must gather an army of Shiboshis to combat the invading Shadowcat army. Strategic troop placement and the use of multiplier gates are key to enhancing the army’s strength. The objective is to overpower the enemy and demolish their castles, which adds a strategic component to the fast-paced gameplay.
“Position your troops wisely and leverage multiplier gates to enlarge your army. Your mission is to crush the enemy and bring down their castles. Are you set to lead your Shiboshi forces to triumph? Dive into the action now!” Lucie indicated via X.
The game is currently in its first version, 0.1.0, available on the Android Google Play Store, where it is still undergoing testing. It requires Android 7.0 or above and is free to play. Developed by Satara Sujal, it was last updated on September 30, 2024. Lucie mentioned that an update for Apple devices will be available “soon.”
This game release follows closely after Agent Shiboshi, which was launched in late August for both Android and Apple platforms. These games are part of Shiba Inu’s strategic entry into the gaming market, particularly focusing on the hyper-casual gaming niche, known for its simple yet engaging gameplay.
Lucie previously outlined this strategic approach, stating, “The focus on hyper-casual experiences reflects Shiba Inu’s dedication to inclusivity. These games are crafted to be easy and enjoyable for players of varying skills, thus appealing to a larger audience.”
Shib Games, the gaming sector of Shiba Inu, debuted both titles across major platforms such as the App Store and Google Play Store. This strategy is intended to “maximize reach and ensure a seamless gaming experience before adding any blockchain elements,” Lucie explained. She noted the priority is on delivering a high-quality product while collecting player feedback to improve future blockchain features.
Additionally, Lucie hinted at forthcoming developments, revealing that both Agent Shiboshi and likely Shiboshi Rush are expected to eventually be available on Shibarium, Shiba Inu’s layer-2 blockchain. “Agent Shiboshi is integrated into the Shib ecosystem and will host its launch on Shibarium, initially on Web2 platforms while a Web3 version is in development,” she said.
As of now, SHIB is trading at $0.00001838.
